CHALLENGES
The prestigious education-focused social enterprise, Sunway Education Group (SEG), houses Sunway University, Sunway College, Sunway International School, and other business units across Malaysia.
Monkey is appointed to produce engaging branded festivities videos, covering all major festive in Malaysia i.e. Chinese New Year and Merdeka Day with the goal being increasing brand awareness and engaging with all stakeholders. As SEG has a unique not-for-profit structure, resources available to Monkeys were limited. Additionally, the contents created had to resonate with both new and current stakeholders, ensuring engagement with the younger audiences who are looking to enroll.
OUTCOME
The monkeys working hand in hand with SEG had to look for creative solutions such as creative angles to cover up the limited resources, and by spending more time in pre-production and being agile during production, Monkeys were able to deliver contents that were unique to SEG and connected with their stakeholders, with an average video engagement rate on SOCMED: 123456

CHALLENGES
With the ever-expanding landscape within Sunway City Kuala Lumpur, Sunway City Kuala Lumpur (SCKL) looked for us to come up with creative solutions that appeals to the audience of all ages, with the goal of increasing awareness and engagement of Sunway City.
As a city that houses a shopping complex, theme park, residential area, and more. Monkey is tasked to develop a creative strategy that in lines with their identity while exploring new ways of innovation, such as Google web stories and social media reels and Tik Tok videos.
This was SCKL’s first swipe at creating short form contents and was still a relatively new concept to them.
OUTCOME
Monthly pre-production meetings were established to brief SCKL on the ins and outs of the short form videos, google webstories and articles. Communication was the key and with detailed call sheet and moodboard prepared prior to production, the Monkeys ensured that ideas were briefed and executed seamlessly, achieving XYZ rate.

Monkey is instructed to develop and produce form videos of Panasonic’s Home·2·Com Solution Centre in Malaysia to help grow brand awareness of the first of it’s kind experience center in ASEAN region.
This was Panasonic first ever experience center, and was also the first ever activation involving short form video contents there were no prior references available and the team were unsure of the creative direction of the contents.
Additionally due to the competitive nature of the industries Panasonic were in, we had to ensure the Panasonic brand is upheld in the video within limited resources, and yet have to stand out and in trend.
OUTCOME
Collaborating with Mantra communications, the Monkeys leverage on creative solutions i.e. trending music and angles with a small production setup, delivering an average engagement rate of xxx without breaking the bank.

Panasonic tasked with Monkey Creators to develop digital ads for the launch of their garment steamers, targeted towards young consumers who are seeking a convenient device when doing laundry
However the catch was that each video had to be limited to only 15 seconds as these videos will be used for media buy and adverts purpose.
OUTCOME
Monkeys developed a simple strategy by featuring the product the USPs separately in 4 different videos, each highlighting different elements which would resonate with the relevant target audience. The resulting impact was a total engagement of xyz.

CHALLENGES
Wagyu Dojo started in January 2021 as a premium supplier of wagyu beef, focusing on B2B when they first started. However they faced two huge hurdles throughout their business tenure. The first was When the pandemic hit, businesses in the F&B industry came to a halt with affected their operations, and the second was businesses reopened.
OUTCOME
Monkeys started with Wagyu Dojo when they first commenced operation and were with them for the past 3 years. WHen the pandemic hit, together with the management, we pivoted into retail sales, doing live selling on META platforms which helped them achieve record sales and also pivoting the business to more B2C.
The second hurdle came when MCO was lifted, Wagyu Dojo’s revenue stream from live sales dropped as their customers were looking to dine out more. As such Wagyu Dojo decided to setup their own dine in experience, establishing a omakase restaurant. With the help of the Monkeys’ digital team, we helped them to create delicious contents, running adverts on META platforms and help them to be fully booked for 6 months when they first launched, and maintaining an occupancy rate of 80% even on weekdays.
Now, they have expanded to 3 floors from an 8 seater omakase-style restaurant.

The Prestige Rose, one of the bestselling body care ranges under Naturals by Watsons, launched a new product, Prestige Rose Soothing Gel. Being their own products, they needed contents that could stand out compared to other brands that are being sold in their outlets.
OUTCOME
To promote it in the market, we experimented with an unconventional but artistic promotional approach in the FMCG beauty product marketing direction. Inspired by the product’s ingredients and formulation, the products are surrounded by earthy and natural elements that resemble authentic and natural ingredients, leaving you with a soothing and supple feeling, captured against a pink skyline backdrop.
This same approach is also used in its short video content, featuring close-up shots of the product texture and props to accentuate the genuine connection with themselves and the natural world around them.
